Participation in the UC Merced Summer Edge is open to all incoming first-year students.
Requirements:

Be a UC Merced incoming first-year student for Fall.

Have a UCM email account (provided when you sent your Statement of Intent to Register to UCM).

Enroll in at least one Summer Readiness course by June 7, 2024.

Have internet access and a computer with a webcam available to use throughout the program.

Participate fully in readiness course(s), including live (synchronous) instruction and on-demand or self-guided (asynchronous) course activities.

Participate in weekly Pod sessions and college readiness workshops.
